LONG BEACH, CA ? One of the nation?s fastest growing privately-held energy
companies, Sullivan Solar Power, today celebrated their recently installed 406,585
Watt solar power system at Long Beach City College?s dedication event.
The college?
s greenest state-of-the-art parking structure facility is net zero and feeding
surplus energy to nearby buildings on campus.
?Working closely with McCarthy Building Company, we were able to turn what would
have been an ordinary parking garage into an extraordinary solar power plant,? said
Daniel Sullivan of Sullivan Solar Power who designed and installed the system.
Daniel Sullivan was joined by Mayor Bob Foster, Long Beach City College President
Eloy Oakley, Southern California Edison, and members of the Long Beach City College
community in dedicating the new 295,485-square-foot facility.
