The other day I and my Husband were in our kitchen
cooking breakfast and as
usual our children Jocelyn
and Jeremiah were having
that sisterly-brotherly spat
over balloons.
Well, Jeremiah
likes to play with Jocelyn’s
things especially when he
does not have the same toy
she has.
We heard Jocelyn tell
Jeremiah…”I don’t love you
anymore”.
That stung Kelvin
and my heart so bad that we
called her down stairs.
As she
was coming Jeremiah came
running to us and he was
about to cry.
So, I grabbed
him up and hugged him and
we asked Jocelyn did she
hear what she had said to her
brother? She said yes.
We
asked her would you be hurt if
he said that to you.
She said
yes.
We then asked her why
she said that.
She said because he was playing with her
balloon and she did not want
him to.
We told her that was
not nice to say to her brother
who loves her and just
wanted to play.
We asked her
