Injustice In The Kite Runner
Injustice is a common theme played out in may stories, both fictional and non.
The world is plagued by the atrocities of injustice, where innocent people are harmed
because of another persons pride, insecurity, or feelings of inadequacy.
Unfortunately, it
is often the weak or those unable or to righteous to defend themselves who suffer from
these injustices.
In the novel The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini this concept is
embodied by the two main characters, Amir and Hassan, who epitomize the struggle
between the venerable innocent and the injustice.
In the novel discrimination pulls two
friends apart.
Disloyalty causes an innocent person unnecessary pain.
Lastly, an act of
betrayal separates a father and son and destroys a life long friendship.
