What Should I Do with My High School Graduation Cap and Gown after I Graduate?
The day of graduation is filled with pride not only for the graduates who have persevered to gain
the rite of passage but for their families and friends as well who have supported the graduates in
their endeavors.
It is also a day of celebration that one chapter of the students’ educational life is
finally over and they are ready to begin a new level, thus the term commencement.
From the time the graduates walk down the aisle to the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance” to the
recessional march, the sentimental air does not seem to waiver.
The jovial sentiment extends
even many days after graduation as farewells, thank you’s, and welcomes are said.
After the spirit of good cheer dies down, many graduates are left with the question of what to do
with their graduation ensemble as it is only to be worn once.
