Finmeccanica, through its companies Ansaldo STS and AnsaldoBreda, won a contract by the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, for the new Honolulu Driverless High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project. The Core Systems Design-Build contract worth totally USD 574 million. The Ansaldo STS portion of the contract will be USD 367 million while the AnsaldoBreda portion of the contract will be USD 207 million. This new order reflects the excellence that the Finmeccanica Group has developed in the field of innovative driverless urban transport systems, as demonstrated by the various tenders the Group has won in cities such as Taipei,Copenhagen and Riyadh.
