If you receive a virus or a scam warning in your email, the first and only action you should take
is to forward it to the Helpdesk, maybe copy the message to your Departmental Computing
Officer, and await advice.
We will check it out, and let you know if it is a genuine threat, whether
anyone in the University is at risk, and whether we need to issue a general alert.
