or my short 3 week course, I am thinking about making it more practical. Many photography classes will focus on a major subject for a semester. I am not doing that because my intended audience is people who have camera but did not learn photography before. The three targets I focused are to understand student’s own camera, to learn the basic theories and rules about photography, and to retouch their photos. The type of course would be hybrid. Basically, students need to work independently, but they are required to interact with other students. It is important to learn from others in photography. There will be synchronous sections for them if they want to. For online synchronous, I will focus on discussing the showcase or sharing works to them and chatting with each other. They are different kind of materials such as reading, videos, Flash, and cartoons and I will use a lot of graphics to help them rather than using text.
