Over 350 of London’s concierges joined the Where London team in Hansom Hall in the St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel on 29 October for 2015’s MVP Golden Keys Concierge Awards. Now in its 10th year, there are five award categories to recognise concierges who excel in their job. This year, five judges honoured Stuart Massie, chief concierge at The Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh, with the regional award; head concierge Madeleine Calon from St James’s Hotel and Club bagged the service through friendship gong; Gerry Defilippis won the lifetime achievement award, and Riyas Kallan, assistant head concierge of The Marylebone won the André Damonte award – after the late international general secretary of the Golden Keys. David Young, head concierge of Brown’s Hotel won the London concierge of the year award.
