Walter went to the anti-racism
workshop in Buffalo on Feb.
23 to learn more about one
of the five Critical Concerns
adopted at the Sisters of Mercy
chapter two years ago.
It reads, “To deepen our
response to the unrecognized
and un-reconciled racism past
and present in our community.
”
And the Chapter Declaration
calls for the “underlying causes of the
Critical Concerns and the interconnections among them” to be unmasked and
addressed.
Given that focus, she apparently
received what she came for.
