Housing for homeless veterans
opens in Manchester, N.
H.

On December 7, the Hanover/
Hall housing for homeless
veterans and their families opened
with a ribbon-cutting ceremony
in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Mayor Ted Gatsas cut the ribbon,
and Mercy Associate Mary Sliney,
founder and executive director of
The Way Home, addressed those
in attendance.
Mary noted the
appropriateness of opening the
veterans’ housing on December 7,
2011, the 70th anniversary of the
attack on Pearl Harbor.
