After reading the chapter as a class, I want you to do the
following activities:
1) Create a time line of the events in this chapter, using a flow map.
Make sure you include detail boxes as well as the dates.
2) Create a Multi-flow map to show causes and effects of Spanish
exploration on the Native Americans.
3) Choose at least 1 of the following: (If you have time, do more)
a.
Pretend you are interviewing a chief of one of the Native
American tribes.
Ask him questions about his feelings about
the impact of Spanish exploration in his lands.
Write out a
script of the questions you would ask him, and then make up
his responses based upon what history has told us they might
have said.
You will be making it up, but it should be backed up
