Day’s Work is a new, national, student-run organization dedicated to helping to identify and create educational opportunities for poor children in
developing countries.
We are kids helping kids to help themselves.
Participating schools include those in these states: Oregon ; Massachusetts ;
Wisconsin ; Minnesota ; Connecticut ; Vermont ; Florida ; Illinois; Iowa ; Colorado ; Arkansas ; Washington, DC ; New Jersey and North
Dakota.
Student members from Quincy, MA presented ODW-USA at the UN and are recipients of : The Peace Corps 2000 Award; a 2000
Boston Celtics’ Heroes Among Us Award; and a “Freedom Lives Award presented on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on September 11,
2002 ;and an October 2003 “Voices of Justice Award” presented at Adams National Historical Park ; and presented by Quincy students at
Children’s World Congress 2005 in INDIA and at World Youth Congress Scotland 2005.
