Florenci Sales Vilalta, Physics and Chemistry teacher at Institut Sòl-de-Riu in Alcanar
Rocco Spanò, English teacher at Paolo Borsellino school in Mazara
At the beginning of the course 2009/10 several schools from the Mediterranean area
started an amazing trip, which travelled to Alcanar (Catalonia), Mazara (Sicily, Italy)
and Athens (Greece).
For nine months all these partners from the seaside have been
working together in an eTwinning project called “Mediterranean Products”.
The project has studied the fruits and vegetables which are obtained in the
Mediterranean countryside, such as oranges, lemons, olives or artichokes.
The products
have been studied from a global point of view that includes: historic review, chemical
analysis, environmental implications and business current situation.
