e have previously written in this journal that it is our opinion it just makes sense for the
United States Veterans Administration to pay for adult day services.
After all these
programs do so much to keep veterans in their communities, avoiding premature
institutionalization and repeat hospital admissions.
Many adult day care
centers want to contract
with the VA to serve
disabled veterans and
have the VA pay for it.
However, before that can
be accomplished it is
important to know how
the VA defines contract
adult day health care so you can ensure your program meets with their requirements.
