No one enjoys having to constantly deal with a dogmatic
person so we certainly want to avoid that approach. At the
same time a stressed family caregiver visiting our adult day
care center may know of a combination of options that could
help make their caregiving easier but are too stressed to
focus and bring them to reality.
Perhaps they could make life easier with daily participation
in adult day care. Add to that two, (2) weekends per month
of overnight, out-of-home respite care in a licensed facility
and four, (4) days per month of someone coming in for four,
(4) hours per visit to assist with bathing at home, meal prep
and some related homemaker duties.
