Case Managers: Grow Your Practice with
Innovation
spend much of my time talking to case managers.
This is not only because I sit as manager of a Care
Coordination Network that arranges and monitors
care for the catastrophically injured—creating
regular interaction - but many of them talk to me about
their desire to grow their independent businesses.
As a
case manager you have to be comfortable marketing
yourself and depending upon your mindset and experience this can be challenging.
One common frustration case managers share with me
is the mistake many have made relying upon referrals
from one source.
When the relationship with that
source dries up or terminates for reasons beyond your
control, so does the well of any referrals.
As a result a
case manager can easily become discouraged.
