My first experience with a Paslode Brad Nailer scared the hell out of
me.
It was all I could do not to pack it all away, and resort to a hammer
and nail – because at least then I could hit the hammer on my thumb as
hard or as gently as I wanted.
I’d got used to this over the years.
However, a brad nailer will do you some serious damage, if you use it
like an idiot.
And believe me when I say I treated it with the maximum
respect.
Well, the first nail I put in, I actually closed my eyes, turned
away, and apparently the nail went into the wood really easily.
Amazing!
After a few trials with the Paslode brad nailer, I soon realised that
although it looks a beast of a machine, it really is quite easy to use, and
you don’t have to have arms like Popeye to wield it around, and put a few
beams in place.
The jobs I’d decided on doing ensured I would be busy for about 3 hours
