BLESSINGS IN BANKS

The last week in February has been,
without a doubt, one of the greatest
highlights of our first year at FMBC.
It
was Spring Mission week, and we were
off to a beautiful little village called
Banks; a farming community on the
outskirts of Southport.
There we were partnered with
the local Methodist Church and School, taking part in
church services, school assemblies, after school clubs,
door-to-door visitation, and much more.
One of our greatest interests was to work with
children and so it was a great joy and privilege to be
involved with both the school assemblies and the after
school JAM (Jesus And Me) club.
Schools work is
becoming increasingly hard, with more legal
restrictions throughout England, so we were slightly
apprehensive.
However, we
were very
encouraged to
find the school
had a sound
Christian ethos
with several
Christian
teachers.
