To drift out in one last embrace

& the fog filters in
Of the streets
Through the windows
Dissappears
Amongst clock towers
The city avastThe city avast
Upon it s modest conclusion
Realizing:
The nights we mingled
Till our bones tired
& our drinks dried
Are faded glories
Of another timeOf another time
Destined for another night
Of attempts adhering
To no destiny
Merely hours passing
As we continue our stride
Not in confidence
But in theory
Of a truth worth definingOf a truth worth defining
Some ideas worth finding
Amongst boardwalks
& clubs
Hard talks
& drugs
Yet why?
(Close our eyes)(Close our eyes)
Staring at the sky
(Wishing on a star)
Not believing
(Just dreaming)
Of a once.
