According to Mackenzie (1901), the Latin word ‘Ethics’ means “habits or customs” and
“discusses men’s habits and customa, or in other words their characters, the principles on
which they habitually act, and considers what it is that constitutes tbe rightness or
wrongness of these principles, the good or evil of these habits” (p.
1).
Student and Teacher Expectations
My Standards- It is highly important to me that this online learning classroom is inclusive
and fair to all students and does not promote feelings of discrimination towards individuals
or disabilities.
I set high standards for all of my students and will monitor the class environment, and
address issues immediately when they arise.
I have fully clarified all instructions and course assignments in the syllabus so look there
first when you have questions.
I understand that online courses can be very time consuming
because other responsibilities; however, my expectations for this course do not change.
