As easy as it is to throw every bottle, glass, or paper product away, what if you could do something with those products that would benefit the environment and our economy? What if we took recycling out of the waste equation? Would we be surrounded by landfills of waste? These are a few of the questions that the City of Auburn Environmental Services and a few Auburn students are willing to answer. The Environmental Services is responsible for the collection of garbage, bulky waste and recycling, animal control and care services, right of way maintenance, and the maintenance of the city’s vehicle and equipment fleet. Their website states, “We understand that the services we provide are an integral part of the quality of life our community has come to expect.
