is educating, eye-opening for NBC5
news anchor Deborah Ferguson
It’s unusual for a person to go through the
YWCA’s Dialogue of Race Program without
experiencing a life change.
Just ask NBC5 morning anchor Deborah Ferguson.
Deborah is a familiar face to most Tarrant County
residents.
Besides serving as our morning wakeup call, she frequently emcees charity luncheons,
covers events and benefits for the news and
takes a special interest in understanding how
each nonprofit organization gives back to the
community.
So when she signed up to participate in a YWCAsponsored Dialogue on Race, no one was surprised
– except perhaps Deborah.
“The experience was educating and eye-opening,”
