Credit Card Guidelines
Updated 12/21/2006
Always meet potential Customers in person before taking their first order
Important: Do not fulfill orders or accept credit card information received online from out of the country.
Be very wary of any large credit card payment received from a Customer you do not know.
Representatives assume all risks related to the acceptance of Credit Card payments.
- Always get an imprint of the Customer s credit card.
Important: In Nov.
2006, Mastercard and Visa began issuing new credit cards that do not have
embossed (raised) account numbers.
These credit cards have the word “Unembossed” and the account
number printed flat on the face of the card.
Representatives can accept these cards.
However, since
there are no embossed account numbers, it is not possible to get a plate impression using an imprinter.
Therefore, if the customer subsequently disputes the transaction, the Representative will be taking on the
additional risk of a possible chargebac
