Caulkins 1 Reilee Caulkins C. Bazzarre English I 9 March 2010 Using Pathos My letter should get an "A" because it was written from the heart. I wrote about the things I knew and had experienced, instead of the things I had yet to experience. I explained elements about Redding that could only be seen through the eyes of someone that loved and felt one with nature. I feel very strongly about Redding s beautiful scenery, and I think that came across very nicely in my letter. I explained how Redding s landscapes made me feel, and how Shasta County contributed to that feeling. I remember hiking up Whiskeytown Falls for the first time. The beauty that was all around me took my breath away. I felt like a very small part of the universe for the very first time. It made me realize how much redding meant to me. And, I was able to see clearly what I would miss the most if I left it. When I left that day, I couldn t help but feel that Redding was the best possible place to live. I had Less
