INTRODUCTION
There was a young man in the Bible by the name Joseph.
He was nicknamed ‘the dreamer’ by his family members, God
gave him big dreams when he was still very young but it was
years before he saw the fulfillment of these dreams.
When he
shared those dreams with his brothers, they hated him and even
tried to kill him but threw him into a pit; then sold him as a
slave.
He was then resold to Potiphar, a wealthy captain in
Pharaoh army.
Potiphar soon recognized God’s favour upon the
young man and made him overseer of his house.
Thing went on for a while until Potiphar’ wife made
advances towards Joseph who refused her and escaped.
He was
falsely accused of rape, and it landed him in prison.
The prison
keeper favored him and put him in charge, two men were thrown
into prison and each had a dream Joseph gave them the
interpretation of their dreams.
Things went on far a while and a
little later pharaoh also had a dream that needed interpretation.
