Chaired by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, a famous French ecologist, photographer and film maker,
Action Carbone is GoodPlanet’s carbon expertise programme. It was created in 2006 to work
together with companies, institutions and individuals to cut their greenhouse gases emissions. This voluntary and responsible commitment consists of calculating, reducing and offsetting their greenhouse gases emissions by supporting community based projects that reduce CO2 emissions through a sustainable development and improve the living conditions of thousands of people in the LDC’s. These projects are implemented both by local NGOs and Action Carbone.
