Borderview Farm in Alburgh is not your typical agricultural establishment.
In fact, the farm,
owned by Roger and Claire Rainville,has evolved in ways that no other farm has through its partnership with the UVM Extension and Heather Darby.
Roger Rainville was born and raised a dairy farmer.
He and his wife purchased their own farm
in Grand Isle County, Borderview, in 1983 and have farmed that land in one way or another ever
since.
They sold the dairy in 2005 and also spent time farming ostriches.
