What Happened Up Here Last Year?

Everyone can think of at least one Islander cover that has left them feeling a little tickled or a bit
awed, and we are asking you to do just that!
Stretch your brain a little, and try to think back on 2010.
We enjoyed too many festivals, shows
and sales to list here—most notably two new Island-wide weekends of events: Festival of the Islands
and the recent Holiday Hop.
Leaving a big hole in Island tradition in 2010: the lack of an Applefest—
first time since its inception over 20 years ago.
The Farmers’ Market continued to flourish, however,
with delicious local flavor and fun throughout the summer.
Farmers also saw a surge of support after
a letter printed in the Islander stirred up the, let’s call it, ‘manure issue’.
Granny’s Attic’s Cupola was removed; the Sandbar Flag was relocated, the North Hero Community
