Bolivar is a department in Colombia.
It is in the north of the country in
the Caribbean Region.

Magangue and Turbaco.
Culture
The typical dress of black women, which offer
delicious local produce to tourists, has
hardwood skirts brightly colored fabric, snug at
the waist, leaving bare the arms and upper
torso.
Use a scarf or shawl of cotton, wool or
silk.

El Mapalé: It is another typical dance of this region, all widely nationally and
internationally.
It represents the work of man bolivarense in fisheries, where the
executors represent the movements of fish out of water and the animals natural
habitatof fisher.
Men and women dance without touching, in a seizure to the
sound of frantic drums.
