William Tell Quoffe
To start off this quoffe, let me just say I think WILLIAM TELL IS
REAL! Noticed how I put that in capital letters, well that’s because a
lot of people think of William Tell as a fictional character saying that
“Oh he could never have split an apple in half with a single arrow”.
What do I think about that? Well I think that nothing is impossible,
and that is most defiantly not impossible.
I bet a professional archer
could have done that just as well as William Tell didn’t, so I do not
know how that can be seen as “unrealistic” or “impossible”! Other
things that seem pretty real, first off he is from a real town called
Bürglen in the 14th
century, which is in the canton of Uri in
Switzerland.
Second of all, Hermann Gessler(The one who had
challenged Wilhem to shoot the arrow and split the apple over his
sons head) the Vogt(Ruler) of Altdorf was part of the House of
Habsburg which was an important REAL royal house of Europe.
These clues all seem pretty real to me!
