Samsung announced several new camcorders today as well.
The HMX-H300 series, the SMXF50 series, and the HMX-P300 and HMX-P100.
We’ll see them out on the floor today at the
Samsung booth, but lets take a quick look at them first.
First up, the HMX-H300.
Samsung is touting it as the ultimate family camcorder, with 3
hour battery life and face detection.
Underneath all these “family friendly” features, beats
the heart of a pretty decent video camera.
The HMX-H300 has a 5.
1 megapixel sensor, 30x
optical zoom, and a 3″ touch LCD screen.
It’s not HD, but more importantly it has image
stabilization, so when you use that 30x optical zoom in and watch the kid playing baseball,
it won’t shake like the camera in the Blair Witch Project.
