The goal of the program is to provide 1,000,000 blankets every year, with your help. On January 20th, 2009, President Obama delivered his famous inaugural address. He named our “patchwork heritage” jointly of the distinctive features of our country. This message was the inspiration for this new program celebrating American diversity.
