Author: Elizabeth Fries Lummis Ellet (Sodus Point, New York, 18 October 1818 – 3 June 1877, New York, New York) || Publication Data: Philadelphia, 1869 || Ex libris: James W. Howarth (Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, 8 May 1847 – 24 April 1914, Middletown Township, Pennsylvania). Howarth was a noted collector of autographs. His collection, unfortunately, was destroyed by a fire at night on 12 December 1906. After his death, his interment was in the cemetery of the Middletown Presbyterian Church, north side of Middletown Road, east of Glen Riddle Road, Middletown Township, Pennsylvania.
