A Catalogue of Greek Verbs. Author: James Skerrett Shore Baird || Publication Data: London, 1880 || Ex libris: Maurice Hutton (Manchester, England, 8 October 1856 – 5 April 1940, Toronto, Ontario) || Inscription: “H. W. Church Trin. Coll. Toronto” This was Henry W. Church who, in 1885, graduated from Trinity College, Toronto. He was, in 1894, the treasurer of St. Hilda’s College, the institution for women that was affiliated with Trinity. || Note: James Skerrett Shore Baird was a Scottish Episcopal clergyman who, in 1835, earned his B. A. and, in 1838, his M. A., both at Trinity College, Dublin. On 13 June, 1861, The Times of London, in its report of deaths, stated the following: “On the 8th inst., at Kensington, the Rev. James Skerrett Baird, aged 30.” Assuming that the Times gave the age at death correctly, this was not the same person as James Skerrett Shore Baird who seems to have had no career for which, after 1861, documentation can be found. || For best viewing, download PDF.
