The Academy Awards (otherwise known as
the Oscars) not only gave us a few amazing awards, but a few actors were there to
surprise us and liven up the show.
A great
number of movies like “Up in the Air”,
“The Hurt Locker”, “Avatar”, “The Blind
Side” and “Precious” have shown in theaters all around America and even internationally.
All of these well-praised with a
few snide remarks on the side.
Regardless,
these movies have provided us with great
entertainment over the past few months
and have finally deserved their award.

“The Hurt Locker” was a huge success
during Oscar night.
Nominated for eight
Oscars and winning six must have made
them proud.
Director Kathryn Bigelow
was awarded Best Director, the first
woman ever to do so.
Amazing? Yes.
