BIBA chief
calls for new
regulation

n his opening
address, BIBA
chief executive
Eric Galbraith
is expected
to call on HM
Treasury and
the new Financial Conduct
Authority to work together
towards delivering the right
regulation for insurance brokers.
Mr Galbraith is set to say that
change is needed relating to the
unfairness of the current regime.
He will suggest a more
prescribed approach is
required on areas like capital
requirements and adequate
resources.
Mr Galbraith is also

had begun a series of meetings
