The following notes explain how the
dictionary is organized to make it easier for the
user to find information.
ORGANIZATION
The entries in the dictionary are arranged in
one alphabetical list.
Guide words at the top of the page indicate
the alphabetic span of each two-page spread.
Entry words that have the same spelling
(homographs) but are different words altogether are listed separately and marked by a
superscript homograph number.
