The Last Day
“Layla, your gonna be late for school, if you don’t hurry up and
get out of bed”, Mum called.
“Mum, its the last day”, i shouted.
“It may be the last day, but your going to go in on time like
every other day”, she said.
Mothers, even on the last day they don’t give you a break, well
it least it will be summer soon, where i have camp, shopping
and sleepovers to look forward to.
I got out of bed and put on my school uniform, which is a blue
polo shirt and trousers which for me is great since my
faviorate colour is blue, but a lot of people hate our uniform.
I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs.
From the bottom step i was greeted with the sweet smell of
pancakes and butter.
“Yum, Pancakes”, i said hungrily.
“You haven’t got time you’ve only got ten minutes to get to
school”, said Mum.
Uuuurrrggg now no time for pancakes.
“Ok, well i better go i’ll cya later”, i said grumpily.
