ITALY REPORT: HOW EASY IT IS TO ELUDE THE UNDERAGE EMPLOYMENT LAW
Yesterday is was told by my mother that she bought some knick-knacks by an 11 years old young boy,
who was selling them on the beach.
Actually in Italy, under-age exploiters are out of law but it seems
that for immigrants this is a lot easier because nobody checks out and nor gives it a try.
She told me as
well that she were told by this young boy he was sent by his father who had a good time going out for a
walk.
As a result, immigrants are not protected by the laws, or better they do not charge immigrants with
under-age exploitation.
