About 60 people gathered
around the runway set up in the
atrium of the J.
C.
Williams Center on April 14 at 9 p.
m.
for a
modesty fashion show sponsored by Chastity Outreach.
“A Springtime for Fashion”
included models dressed in various types of modest outfits,
musical performances and modesty talks.
Junior Melanie Provencher,
the Chastity Outreach member
who coordinated the event,
introduced the first group of
models.
“You can look good but modest .
.
.
you can do both,”
Provencher said.
“It’s not just
one or the other.
”
Several models showed the
truth of Provencher’s statement,
including sophomore Molly Lillis, who wore a zebra dress with
a turquoise jacket and a string of
pearls.
Provencher called Lillis’
outfit a “very cute going-out outfit.
”
“You can never go wrong
with pearls,” Provencher said.
Junior Andrew Bair wore a
sweater vest with a collared
shirt, jeans and a cap, demonstrating a “classy” outfit to wear
to class, Provencher said.
