1 YearbookInstructor: Paulo Valenza What is Yearbook Course Description: Welcome to Yearbook! This class is different from almost any other class that is offered in the middle and the high school. We have the privilege and the responsibility to record, document, organize, and then publish a book that will try to capture some of the best times in the 2009-2010 school year. Very few classes have the ability to impact the entire school. The yearbook is something that students will cherish for the rest of their lives and inevitability brings smiles to their faces for years to come. The yearbook is not an item that is merely thrown together. It takes an extreme amount of time, photographic skill, technological skill, effort, and most of all, teamwork. In order for this to work you will learn how to take proper photographs, tastefully edit photographs in Photoshop CS4, and how to create a flowing and consistent layout with Adobe InDesign CS4. Most importantly, you will learn how to work Less
