Introduction
I have been a CAD user for 18 years, using AutoCAD for the last 9 years.
I like a
programme that enables you to quickly become productive, without a long learning
curve.
AutoCAD 2010 Architecture – software designed to enable the Architect to
quickly produce schemes and develop these into workable building projects - has the
potential, but I struggled with the training tools because - at Step One - the Spaces Tab
was totally missing!
New features
One excellent feature is that when the mouse hovers over the drawing tab it
brings up a mini preview of that drawing view which is very good for
navigation.
Another fine feature is being able to use polygons to define an area and then
uplift these into data sheets viewable in Excel, which is very good.
One brand new helpful feature in ‘A’, is when you hold/hover over the
drawing name, it gives you a preview of the drawing.
