When I get asked by friends to recommend the best
image editing package my answer is always one of
three.
The first choice is Google Picasa for organising
and very basic editing.
The second and most popular
choice is Adobe Photoshop Elements as it does most
things consumers and budding photographers are ever
likely to need.
The third choice is Adobe Photoshop for
the serious or professional photo editor.
It is a simple
formula which always works.
Ever since Adobe released Elements it has been a hit.
The cut-down version of its bigger brother has always
retained the most popular features in a simple to use
package.
With version 8, Adobe have improved yet
again an already great program.
