On February 1st this year he visited Sunderland to spend time in Oxclose as our first BSF school, to visit our 6th Form at Usworth and to look at the collaboration between the schools and the College. In the afternoon he visited Valley Road Primary School and gave a lecture to education professionals in the Council Chambers at the Civic Centre. In his time at Oxclose, Steve visited all areas of the school talking to staff and students. He was keen to understand why we had rebuilt the school as it now is and how the students have benefitted.
