The Cam Ranh City Orphanage was built by members of
the U.
S.
Military Chaplains, and many American
soldiers volunteered their time while off duty to spend
time with us as orphans.
Now, 35 years later, the same
set of buildings sit vacant.
It is our hope and dream to
reopen the orphanage which saved us physically and
spiritually.
Undoubtedly there will be much discussion
and prayer about this property as we tour the facilities.

The Buckner Home for Children played a crucial role
for us orphans once they reached the United States.
Many of us grew up at the orphanage in Dallas, TX and
still attend the First Vietnamese Baptist Church of
Dallas.
Through the assistance of Buckner, we have
arranged to work in a couple different orphanages in the
region.
What an exciting opportunity, as an orphan, to
be able to serve God in this manner.
