John Egbeazien Oshodi Department of Psychology, Nasarawa State University. Keffi, Nasarawa State, Nigeria E-mail: jos5930458@aol. com Abstract In this paper corruption in Nigeria is expressed as realistically unmanageable and there is no current aggressive way of reducing its spread. The nation has been judged to be surrounded by corruptible persons, especially in public leadership. In this paper a line of unusual legal and therapeutic methods are suggested. It is being offered in this paper that the nation should develop in-house forensic institutions for corruption suspects and convicts following a battery of psychological testing on the mental condition of corruption suspects (i. e. , the malady of Corruptomania) to determine un

Abstract: In the quest of globalization, India has countered positively by opening up its economy, removing controls and resorting to liberalization. Thus, to achieve the objective of maximum economic efficiency, the liberal trade policy must be complimented through a sound competition policy by preventing anti-competitive business practices and unnecessary government intervention. There are now more than a billion malnourished people in the world meaning that almost one sixth of humanity is suffering from hunger. Fertility of land has been reduced due to over exploitation, excessive use of chemical fertilisers, insecticides and pesticides. Due to indiscriminate deforestation the amount of rainfall reduces and land erosion takes place. Natur

Considering the objective of the study, given a household participated in nonfarm employments and its effect on food security, the Heckman selection model (two stage) is used. We examine first the household decision with respect to participation in nonfarm employment using pobit model. We found that land size, age, family size, special skill, electricity, credit, distance to the nearest market and access to irrigation are the most influencing variables in determining farmers

However, one may observe that the mass media, legal community, politicians, diplomats, NGOs and medical community persistently use the term ethnic cleansing. Moreover the crimes against humanity which were committed in 1990s’ could be discussed and prosecuted by courtesy of that term. In addition the foregoing discussion about ethnic cleansing was essential in the establishment of International Criminal Court. Therefore, in this paper it is argued that, after the establishmen

Time-series econometric techniques (Granger causality and cointegration) are applied to test the hypothesis of economic growth strategy led by exports. The paper is based on the following hypotheses for testing the causality and co-integration between GDP and export in India as to whether there is bi-directional causality between GDP growth and export, or whether there is unidirectional causality between the two varia
