If students are allowed to enter the college without meeting these requirements the reputation of the department as a whole will suffer. One of the prominent features of any distinguished public relations department is that the department has specific requirements and expectations of its members. If any student could get into the public relations major without any of these requirements the department would no longer be renowned, as it previously has been. The department wants our students to go confidently to future employers, knowing that they made it through a difficult program and are ready for what any public relations job asks of them. A sweet escape is precisely what Sgt. 1st Class Joshua Olson discovered while attending events though Gameday for Heroes.
