It can be infuriating not being able to transfer music from your iPod into iTunes but now with iRip, worry no more. With iRip you can easily transfer music from your iPhone and iPod back to your computer. ITunes is brilliant and so easy to use, but, if your computer dies with your valuable multi-media collection on board, hells bells do you have a problem and it could be an expensive problem at that. For just £12. 95 you can turn your iPhone or iPod into a hard drive extension to your iTunes master. If you lose your phone you can register your new phone with iTunes and download your music . Immediately on loading ABCNotes onto my iPad the first thing you notice is the beautiful presentation of the application, it launches into a series of notes on a colourful background, these notes explain how to use the various features of the app very useful to get started, mind you its so easy its common sense really. The attention to detail and the finishing touches of ABCNotes m a k e s y o u w a n t t o b e deliberately busy just so you can use this application as often as possible. If thereʼs one thing I enjoy about an iPad application its when a developer creates something a little bit out of the ordinary, in this case Paint it Show for the iPad from Corel is just that, although it could be described as a slideshow application it does something quite spectacular, it takes your selected images and animates the transformation into a work of art and then moves on to the next image which follows the same process, this makes normal digital photo frames look boring. However what the user really wants, is to be able to save the rendered image to share with family and friends thankfully this feature is included. Here is an example image I tried. Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 has upped the ante with this 64-bit only application offering a range of cutting edge features aimed at of course the professional video editor. Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 continues to include OnLocation, Encore and Adobe Media Encoder. The biggest feature and the most talked about is the GPUaccelerated Adobe Mercury Playback Engine also known as MPE. The benefit of this feature is that it allows you to open and work with high definition and higher resolution sequences in real time you can scrub and playback your projects without rendering. Imagine being able to work with full high definition as smoothly as standard definition, or what about applying effects, colour corrections etc and see them instantly without any problems.
