With another school year now upon us, there can be no more important time for officers with the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to urge drivers to slow down and to watch for school buses all in an effort to keep our children safe. Drivers are reminded that officers will be closely monitoring school zones and school buses so please be prepared to stop, in both directions, when a school bus is stopped with their overhead lights flashing. Even multi-lane roadways such as Highway 9 and 10 and Regional Road 50 require all drivers to stop for the school bus in both directions.
