It has been a while since the last newsletter so there is plenty to pack into this one. There is a post show report on the last Autumn show, A Cocktail of Cabaret, which was put together by Christine Ellis and Jason Middleton. There are the results of the questionnaire sent out to everyone for their opinions on what CMTC is doing right and wrong if you didn’t complete one this time there may be another opportunity early next year. This was an effort to get feedback from you the members - judge for yourself on the results inside. We have the latest news on the Spring show Crazy For You, and content from the stage director and musical director. Sweet Charity was a very successful show, enjoyed by members and audiences alike, and there are extracts from the NODA report inside. TABS Christmas 2009 CheshamMusicalTheatre CompanyNewsletter This is my second open letter in my privileged position as Chairman. Little did I know what I was taking on when Jenny decided to step down! I suspect it is never easy to fill the shoes of somebody as dedicated as Jenny, and indeed I would not presume to take on all that she did for the Company. But already in my first few weeks I have come to appreciate just how much she did for us all behind the scenes! My spell in office started with a huge success for which I take no credit at all. I refer of course to our last great production of Red Hot and Cole. This was neither a traditional musical nor our usual type of autumn show. Nevertheless, it undoubtedly brought out the very best in people both on and off stage and has brought many new members and friends to CMTC. I also feel that early production problems and frighteningly low ticket sales a week before the show served to galvanise the Compa
